I submitted a special issue of this journal, which is very close to my research direction, from submission to rejection, a total of two months. There were four reviewers, and the feedback was mostly positive, even though one of the reviewers used AI for reviewing. The reviewers mostly raised some formatting, spelling, and explanation issues. In the end, the paper was rejected, and I feel that this special issue is quite competitive.
