The first review was pretty fast, and I received major revisions within a month. However, the second review had a different reviewer who disappeared, causing a 3-month delay. A new reviewer was invited to join, but the second review was rejected. What a waste of 5 months. The second reviewer scrutinized the paper from beginning to end, feeling very superior. Clearly a student who is new to research, looking down on everything. Oh well... Hopefully everyone can encounter good reviewers!
