No matter how long it takes for your submission to be under review, I have been with the editor for over a month.

This journal specifically requests that the article be revised and resubmitted, but after the minor revisions were made, it was rejected. Even though some reviewers agreed to accept the article, the editor still decided to reject it. During the revisions, another reviewer was invited. The editor is really incompetent and is driving everyone away. Every time we follow up on the status of the article, we only receive polite responses with no progress.
