Why doesn't the journal Frontiers in Microbiology reply to emails?

After reading the comments, it seems that once it passes the external review, it will be accepted for publication. I haven't seen any rejections by the editors. I'm puzzled because there are many studies on tobacco published in this journal. I accept that maybe I just have bad luck, and I also accept that some editors may reject tobacco-related studies, but to have my submission rejected after half a year of waiting? This is ridiculous

The above score is given because I dare not score casually. How to say, I don't understand it very well. It has been reviewed externally 5 times, and experiments have been supplemented as required, but in the end, the editor rejected it.
Submitted in early October, reviewed in late October, and received external review comments in late November, then underwent major revisions;
Received the second round of external review comments in mid-December, Reviewer 1 agreed to publish, but Reviewer 2 requested supplementary experiments, which I did;
At the end of December, Reviewer 2 requested supplementary experiments again, stating that the publication would be approved after the completion of this experiment, so I did it again, and submitted the final manuscript in early January.
Reviewer 2 completed the review on January 17 and agreed to publish.
On January 22, the editor made the final decision to reject the manuscript. The reason was a conflict of interest.
Where does the conflict of interest come from? I conducted a study on tobacco microbiology, which was sponsored by a tobacco company, and there were also tobacco teachers among the authors. Therefore, the editor determined that there was an issue with conflicts of interest.
... After all the trouble you put me through, you ultimately rejected me. I can't stand it! You could have rejected it from the beginning! It's not like you only learned about my authors and funding information after multiple rounds of external reviews!
