Submission experience: 1. The submission system is somewhat outdated. When the teacher reminds you that there is missing material, try refreshing the network multiple times, and you will find that the material has actually been uploaded.
2. After acceptance, the editor asked for a copyright transfer agreement and mentioned that it could be downloaded from the author center. However, there was no download path in the author center (neither me nor my teacher could find it), so I had to explain the situation to the editor and request an electronic copy. The editor was kind enough to send it.
3. There may be a discrepancy in the submission of publication fees. When I received the official acceptance email, there was no email regarding the submission of publication fees. Based on the experiences of senior students, they mentioned that an email about the publication fees would be sent, as electronic invoices are needed. After waiting for more than two weeks without receiving the email, I had to send an inquiry email to finally receive the invoice. Due to being busy, I postponed going to the bank to make the payment for a week (thinking that it was acceptable since the payment is usually required within 30 days after receiving the invoice). However, in the second week after receiving the invoice, I received a reminder email about the overdue payment, stating that my publication fees had been delayed for a week. Upon checking the invoice, it showed that it was issued the day after the formal acceptance of the paper, indicating that the invoice had been prepared but not sent to me. Thankfully, the editor did not make things difficult for me even though the payment was overdue by a month. After making the payment, I just had to reply to an email as requested.
I hope this information can help those who are currently submitting papers and alleviate the anxiety of students awaiting graduation.
