After the first revision, the paper was rejected in the second review. The opinions of the six experts in the first review were objective and very helpful in improving the quality of the paper. The second review, possibly from the associate editor, had a haughty attitude and most of the opinions were nitpicking. The three experts in the second review inferred one accept, one revise, and one reject. The paper was rejected. Overall, most experts were objective, but the process took a year and the experience was very poor.

I have submitted two manuscripts to TNSM, one has been published and the other has just been accepted. The overall time from submission to acceptance for each manuscript is quite long, which is also related to the assigned AE and reviewers. It is possible to have additional reviewers when a manuscript is rejected and resubmitted after the first review, but the reviewers are very professional and their feedback greatly improves the quality of the paper. It is truly a well-established journal and quite good. The timeline is as follows:
