It's okay, it was my first submission. Both reviewers raised a lot of questions, but after addressing them seriously, the quality of the article significantly improved, as the reviewers stated "the manuscript has shown marked improvements in both rigor and originality". However, the process after acceptance is too slow, it was accepted on July 18th and has been in "Awaiting Production Checklist" status. The online publication is a colorful highlighted version of the revised manuscript, which is not ideal. Authors should be allowed to submit a clean version for online publication alongside the marked-up version.

I heard that this journal processes submissions quickly, and since I am graduating at the end of the year, I thought that if my paper was accepted, the problem could be resolved in about two months. Even if it was rejected, it would probably only take a day or two. But damn, after waiting for five days, they sent a rejection letter, and it was just a generic rejection. It's so disgusting. The submission system's stupid PDF converter also has major issues. I could only submit the main text in Word format, and after adjusting the formatting myself, the system's PDF converter completely messed up the figures and tables.

Anyway, it's really great to have one of my articles published in this journal as a representative work. Nowadays, when applying for funding, they always check if it's published in a top domestic journal. Recently, I was lucky enough to be invited to contribute an article, and it was accepted within a month and a half. The publication fee was 3000, which was much cheaper than expected. The requirements for innovation and workload are quite high, and I personally feel that the level is between CEJ and AFM.
