OP, after I was sent back for revisions by the first reviewer, the paper was reviewed by three more reviewers the same day, and the fourth reviewer the next day. However, the status of the paper has been showing as "Under Review" for 5 days now, when it should ideally be in the "RRC" status. Did you experience this situation before?

Submission in June 15, 2025, revised in August, and accepted within ten days after modification. Generally speaking, the journal has a fast pace, and it is up to the editor-in-chief to decide whether to review or not. As long as it is under review, there is a chance of acceptance.

2025.8.7 The editor gave a "Major Revision". Reviewer #1 and Reviewer #3 raised some questions and suggestions, which I personally think are quite positive for the article. However, the questions raised by Reviewer #2, the first one I find "very offensive", and I am unsure how to respond.

Submission on March 24, 2025
Major revision on April 14, 2025. The reviewer had a good attitude, but asked me to add four or five experiments. My cell culture takes over a month per cycle. So tired.

About a month after submission, the first revision opinions were provided by three reviewers, all of which suggested major revisions. Approximately a week after responding to the first revision opinions, the second revision opinions were received. Two out of three reviewers agreed to accept the submission, while the other two provided minor suggestions. The next day at noon after the second revision opinions were submitted, the acceptance notification was received. This submission process went smoothly, taking about one and a half months from submission to acceptance.
