My second article encountered this, and I strongly agree that the current review comments are very perfunctory. Hey, under the review comments, the quality is not good, and some of the accepted articles are very poor in terms of experimental analysis.

This journal is really shady, the review comments are very poor and lack professionalism. Later I found out it's a journal for insiders, not related to your achievements, just based on connections. I suggest that future authors think carefully and not waste their time.

DO NOT waste your time on this journal. This journal operates based on friend groups. You easily publish papers if you are within their circle. Just check the editor list. 
I waited 8 months for the reviews. And the two reviewers apparently did not even read the paper. The comments were extremely superficial. AND they did not reject the paper. It's a "reject and resubmit". This is just their way to boost the number of submissions, as when you reject and resubmit, it has a new submission ID.

To be objective, this is a trash journal. If you submit a manuscript, you will encounter the following problems:
1. The AE's handling of manuscripts is seriously delayed, and it usually takes about six months to receive a review;
2. The quality of the reviews is low, and it is suspected that the reviewers simply copy and paste comments after throwing the manuscript to AI, lacking professionalism;
3. The result of carefully writing reviews for major or minor revisions is rejection. After resubmitting, two major revisions, one minor revision, and then rejection, what kind of stupid journal is this?
In conclusion, I sincerely hope that the EIC, AE, and Guest Editors can recover from their mental illnesses soon and stop disgusting us authors. I will never submit to this journal again in my next life, and I advise you not to submit either. Don't make yourself unhappy.

The first two times were completely ineffective, but the third time I directly expressed my extreme urgency. The reply email mentioned that this time, besides following up with the AE, it was also copied to the editor-in-chief. I believe that copying the editor-in-chief may have been the main reason why this follow-up was effective. Additionally, the speed of handling by the AE of this journal is extremely slow. Even after receiving the review comments, it still takes about 3 weeks for the AE to respond, not to mention the initial assignment of reviewers. With this speed, I will definitely not submit to this journal again in the future.

The entire submission process takes more than 12 months. Among them, the time for Awaiting Reviewer Assignment is the longest, exceeding 6 months. The review time is approximately 2 weeks to 1 month. Awaiting AE Recommendation takes 2 to 3 weeks each time. After AE Recommendation, the decision from the EIC is made within 3 days. Reminder emails are usually replied to within 3 days. Since the evaluation is limited to 500 characters, the submission record is attached to the reply for reference.

Why did you change the reviewer for my revised submission? I followed the previous reviewer's comments and wrote a response letter, and you just switched it up on me? That's not even the worst part, the first two reviews were positive and were awaiting the editor's decision, but the next day it's back to "awaiting reviewer scores." The editor and AE specifically found a third negative reviewer to reject it, and their classic criticism was "lack of novelty." Seriously, why don't they investigate what others in the field are working on instead of just criticizing my use of a toy dataset? I even used more difficult and larger datasets than the baseline in the same direction. I seriously doubt the competence of the editor, AE, and the outrageous reviewers they found. They don't even dare to provide contact information for the AE, and the reviews only contain opinions without any specific decisions. You guys are a joke, I hope you go out of business soon!
