The entire submission process takes more than 12 months. Among them, the time for Awaiting Reviewer Assignment is the longest, exceeding 6 months. The review time is approximately 2 weeks to 1 month. Awaiting AE Recommendation takes 2 to 3 weeks each time. After AE Recommendation, the decision from the EIC is made within 3 days. Reminder emails are usually replied to within 3 days. Since the evaluation is limited to 500 characters, the submission record is attached to the reply for reference.

Why did you change the reviewer for my revised submission? I followed the previous reviewer's comments and wrote a response letter, and you just switched it up on me? That's not even the worst part, the first two reviews were positive and were awaiting the editor's decision, but the next day it's back to "awaiting reviewer scores." The editor and AE specifically found a third negative reviewer to reject it, and their classic criticism was "lack of novelty." Seriously, why don't they investigate what others in the field are working on instead of just criticizing my use of a toy dataset? I even used more difficult and larger datasets than the baseline in the same direction. I seriously doubt the competence of the editor, AE, and the outrageous reviewers they found. They don't even dare to provide contact information for the AE, and the reviews only contain opinions without any specific decisions. You guys are a joke, I hope you go out of business soon!

This journal is just a piece of shit. If you are not a connection, you will be humiliated by the editor. Yes, it's blatant humiliation. They leave the paper under review for four or five months without any response. Then they provide a few extremely poor quality review comments that could be written in 10 minutes. And then they reject the paper. And the most disgusting part is that after rejecting the paper, they encourage you to resubmit, and the whole process repeats again. I have been humiliated in this way three times. You may ask why I allow myself to be humiliated like this. It's because the corresponding author is a bit crazy and keeps asking me to resubmit.

The speed is too slow, I suspect AE is just dragging its feet, too slow. The review scores have been back for many days, but they are still stuck at AE. I really regret submitting to this terrible journal, wasting half a year of my time. lj journal is waiting to go out of business.

The more I think about it, the more angry I get. Let's take a good look at the abstract of Reviewer 1. I cited a paper A as the main comparison in my paper, and the experiments were conducted on the dataset used in paper A. However, Reviewer 1 did not look at the references I cited, but instead found another paper B with a similar method abbreviation to paper A. They then said, "I did not find any results like yours in paper B," and questioned where my results on these datasets came from. It really made my blood pressure rise. Where did this reviewer come from???

One reviewer seems to lack understanding in the field, raising two questions. The first one is quite naive, while the second one points out an experiment from a reference and questions why it was not conducted in the dataset, requesting additional experiment and details. The other reviewer is more lenient, only asking for some additional descriptive details. 
The AE's suggestion is to reject & resubmit, which was directly followed by the editor-in-chief.
