I have submitted twice, the first time the editor-in-chief was not interested in the research, and the editor rejected the submission directly in about a week, the process was very quick. The second time from submission to acceptance took 4 months, because I was counting on this article for graduation, so the whole process was very difficult and agonizing. Submitted on 6.6.2024, around 2 weeks to the editor-in-chief, 6.25 with the supervising editor, 6.26 under review, and then kept switching back and forth between with the supervising editor and under review. After experiencing 2 months, finally on 8.17 it was in review, at this time it was truly sent out for external review, but the review feedback came quickly, on 8.26 Minor Revision (3 reviewers all gave very good evaluations, only needing to make some minor changes, add some discussions, no need to add experiments), 9.4 minor revision submitted (the format requirements of this journal are very detailed, the format of the article images was adjusted greatly according to the requirements), 9.10 in review, this review took a very long time, I thought there would be results in about 2 weeks, later I learned that there was one reviewer who had not received the manuscript (I don't understand why, there were no issues the first time, in fact, they just need to take a glance, later I saw online that this phenomenon is quite common), 10.15 Awaiting EIC Decision, 10.16 accepted in the early morning. * The waiting process was quite agonizing, at that time, I read about everyone's submission experiences on various forums, but there was very little information in this area, so I decided to write down my submission process, hoping it could be helpful to everyone. By mid-July, received rejection. Only 2 reviewers, each providing brief and perfunctory comments. Not recommended for those with tight deadlines.
