The first round of review took 3 months, with 3 reviewers providing very professional opinions and the journal suggesting resubmission after revisions. Following the requirements, all revisions were made. After resubmission, the review took 4 months, with two reminders sent in between, each resulting in an updated status. However, the final feedback only consisted of 2 very basic and irrelevant comments, leading to a rejection. This approach and efficiency are very disappointing. The second round of reviewers is completely different from the first round. An email has been sent to inquire about this discrepancy.
