I submitted my paper in mid-May this year, and it was returned for major revisions after about a month of review. It took me around 2 months to make the necessary revisions. After resubmitting, it took another two months for the paper to be reviewed again. I sent an email to follow up during this period, and soon after, it was accepted on October 14th.

Submission rejected after 4 months.
Two reviewers provided feedback, reviewer 1 rejected the submission, reviewer 2 suggested minor revisions, but the editor ultimately rejected it.
In my opinion, reviewer 1 was arrogant and conceited, their main reason for rejection being that my problem could be solved using existing method A and my method B was not necessary.
I wrote an appeal letter, requesting the editor to consider sending it to a third reviewer, but my request was denied.
Lastly, I want to say that I am not unable to accept the rejection decision. In the past, rejection was only disappointing, but this time it feels particularly offensive and angering.
Please consider it for yourselves.

The first review lasted for more than 10 months, and after contacting the responsible editor and editorial assistant several times during the process, there was no response. Later, for some unknown reason, the responsible editor was no longer on their list of editors, so the chief editor took over and gave a minor revision a few days later. One reviewer gave a very positive evaluation with no mention of any issues, while the other reviewer used parallel sentences to praise the work but also pointed out a few paragraphs that were not clearly explained. After revising and resubmitting within 2 days, the paper was accepted after 20 days.
