The manuscript in the field of biomedical materials submitted in January was accepted on May 18th after the first revision. Two reviewers were assigned, but one of them disappeared after the revision was sent back. The Belgian editor then invited four new reviewers, two of whom accepted. However, one of the reviewers also disappeared during the review process. After the final revision was submitted, it was accepted after 4 days. The Belgian editor is actually quite efficient in handling the article, mostly after 4 pm Beijing time on working days. However, the recent reviewers have been a bit unreliable.
