Why is no one sharing their experience in this magazine? I submitted an article this year, let me tell you about it. It's a clinical article on thoracic surgery. It took 2 months for the initial review, then major revisions were needed. After resubmitting, it took another month for minor revisions and acceptance. It will be published in about a month, so the whole process took almost 4 to 5 months. The requirements are quite strict, and the reviewers are very thorough. Their feedback greatly improved the article, so there is a good opportunity for substantial revisions.
