Submit at the end of April, invite reviewers one month later, and receive feedback from five reviewers in June and July. Two accepted, two minor revisions, and one major revision. Accepted after revisions on July 18th. The reviewers' comments were quite fair.

Submitted in January, external review one week later, response from one reviewer two weeks later, asking very professional and pertinent questions, suggesting revisions, directly replying to the revised manuscript in the system. Another reviewer completed the review in March, without even looking at the figures and attachments, he rejected the article claiming statistical issues. After multiple appeals and requests for re-review, the second reviewer suggested minor revisions a month later. Accepted on May 7th. The whole process took four months. The submission system of Frontier is particularly user-friendly, very clear and easy to use, providing a good experience. However, the price is high, at $2970.
