What do you mean by being dominated by the Egyptians? Ain Shams University itself is an Egyptian university, which is equivalent to their school newspaper Engineering Science Edition... The review process is especially slow, with the editor taking a month just to assign reviewers. It also took some time to find reviewers. During this period, the editor did not take any action, follow up, or address the reviewers' comments. Finally, after one reviewer wrote three sentences, the editor rejected the manuscript. It seems that they are dominated by their local staff. I strongly advise against submitting to this journal, as I suspect the impact factor will soon decrease.

An article was submitted for a year, reviewed twice, each time one reviewer accepted it, the other reviewer ran away, and the editor finally rejected it as a new submission. It's really disgusting.
