1. After submitting the manuscript, feedback for revisions was given on the 20th day, with a 10-day window for revisions (the editor mentioned that they reached out to 3 reviewers but only received feedback from 2, in order to expedite the process, I was asked to respond to and make changes based on the feedback from these 2 reviewers).
2. Less than 12 hours after resubmitting the revised manuscript, feedback from the reviewers came back, with one reviewer suggesting further improvements (my heart skipped a beat at that moment), and the editor granted a 4-day window for revisions.
3. After the second round of revisions, a 6-day wait followed before the editor notified me of acceptance for publication (the elusive 3rd reviewer never made an appearance), with a request for proofreading using MDPI's service. This was completed in 5 hours, and the revised manuscript was resubmitted, with the galley proof received and approved the same evening.
4. Two days after the galley proof approval, the manuscript was published online.

In summary: The process was relatively fast, with 20 days for review, 14 days for revisions, 6 days for the editor's decision on acceptance, for a total of 40 days. The online publication occurred on the 42nd day, overall providing a positive experience.
