Everyone is asking, so let me clarify the submission process. I submitted last year, then sent for peer review at the beginning of this year. The revisions were done in March (twice), and recently got accepted. Overall, the process went smoothly, and I would give a good review to Transportation Geotechnics. The journal prefers topics related to transportation (especially railways and highways) in geotechnical engineering, so you can give it a try if your content is relevant. If you are in a rush with other topics, I would not recommend submitting to them for the first time.
