In a similar situation, on May 18th, three reviewers were assigned, and two of them accepted. One of them has not completed the review yet. The handling editor has also not invited new reviewers so far. Two emails inquiring about the progress received formal responses. We are considering withdrawing the submission as it has been delayed for nearly half a year.

I'm not sure where to withdraw it, but as long as it hasn't been published, I should have the right to withdraw it. Now there is a new submission system, and the article I submitted before is not showing up in the new system.

This journal is really frustrating, I may have encountered a European editor, and the efficiency is slow. Submitted on January 26, 2026, under review on April 17, 2026, requested feedback from two experts but received no response. More expert invitations were sent on May 28, 2026, but no response. On June 13, 2026, a perfunctory reply was received when inquiring about the situation through the system. Now, it has been four and a half months under review, and still no sign of acceptance for review. Attempts to contact them have also been unsuccessful. How can I withdraw my submission?
