It was a very pleasant submission experience. The editor processed the manuscript very quickly. I submitted the manuscript in April, and the reviewer suggested major revisions. After I submitted the revised manuscript, I received an email shortly after saying that it had been accepted.

Four reviewers were involved in the review process. The first reviewer believed that the paper had good theoretical and practical value. The second reviewer, however, felt that the paper lacked any substantial innovation and did not differ from traditional methods, deeming it a very mediocre piece of work. It seemed like they had reached their conclusion without fully reading the paper. The third reviewer, although using a harsh tone, still leaned towards recommending major revisions. The fourth reviewer found some value in the paper and offered specific suggestions for improvement. In the end, the editor decided to reject the paper.
As some other colleagues have mentioned, this journal gives the impression that it is not difficult to submit papers for review, but if any of the reviewers lean towards rejection, the editor will ultimately reject the paper. In this era of explosive growth in submissions due to AI, most journals are likely to face desk rejections. Editors may reject a paper if they don't like it at first glance, as there is currently no shortage of submissions for any journal. Once an editor decides to send a paper for review, that is already half the battle won. However, this journal does seem to be different in this regard.

Non-double-first-class universities, supervisors are not top scholars, working on explosive shock wave direction. Submitted to this journal three times, two times directly rejected by the desk. After being sent for review, both reviewers suggested minor revisions but were rejected by the editor. The two reviewers provided a total of 6 comments, with 4 of them related to formatting. Just providing this as a reference for everyone.

Agreed!! My four reviewers, one gave minor revisions, the other three suggested modifications, all within manageable range. And then directly rejected by the editor-in-chief! The main reason is that the four reviewers have reviewed for so long, and there are no fundamental issues. It not only wastes the time of the reviewers but also delays the graduation time for students! It is recommended to be cautious when submitting for graduation!!

Two major revisions were given, although they were major revisions, a total of eight suggestions were provided, two-thirds of which were about formatting issues or the need for detailed explanation of certain parameters. Both reviewers praised the innovation of the paper, but the editor rejected it on the grounds of lack of innovation. The purely subjective feeling is that there is a serious problem of clique mentality, although it appears to be a comprehensive journal, most of the content is focused in related fields. Before submitting, it is recommended to check if there are few papers related to your direction in the journal, then it is not advisable to consider submitting.
