After submitting the manuscript, it was sent for external review the next day, and returned after about 20 days. There were three reviewers who raised more than 20 questions, which were quite professional. The revised manuscript was sent back two months later, and returned after about 20 days for a second review, with two additional reviewers. The manuscript was revised again one week later, and accepted seven days after the third round of review. It was published one week later. The review process was relatively fast, with articles typically being published within a month, and the quality of the articles is quite good.

I can't understand why a civil engineering professional like me was invited to review a journal in JCR Zone 1 and the top journals of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. It's even more suspicious that I have been invited more than once.

After submission, four reviewers were invited for the first review, among whom two had very critical comments. The paper underwent two rounds of revisions, and an additional reviewer was brought in during one of the revisions. The overall feedback was professional. It was a challenging process, but thankfully the paper was eventually published

At the beginning of the year, I submitted an article for review by 5 reviewers, with a total of 52 major and minor issues.
