Submitted in August 25 years ago, rejected in September due to lack of data and invited to resubmit. Submitted with corrected data in November, rejected again after 10 days due to formatting issues and invited to resubmit. Submitted again in December, rejected after 1 month due to formatting issues and invited to resubmit. Submitted in mid-January, sent for review a week later, and after 1 month the reviewer suggested rejection. Submitted a total of 4 times, wasting half a year of my time. I have never seen a journal with such strict formatting requirements. They should review and accept first, then refine the formatting. Each time they say something is not suitable here or there, and then ask for a resubmission.
