I never expected that this journal would have such high requirements for originality; my interdisciplinary physics-biology submission took over a month to receive feedback for revisions. Three reviewers provided a total of 40 suggestions, demonstrating a high level of expertise from both biological and physical perspectives. One of the reviewers is a renowned expert from Harvard. I have been given a month to make the revisions, and it has been a month and a half since the second submission. In total, it has been nearly 4 months, which is much more rigorous than I anticipated. I expect that the quality of future submissions will continue to improve!
