The submission was made at the beginning of March, and the technical review took half a month twice. In mid-April, an editor took over and it took a whole month. The first round of review was completed at the beginning of July, with three reviewers, which was considered a major revision. By the end of July, there was a revision, followed by two more rounds of technical review taking half a month each. Acceptance was finally granted at the end of August. 
Proofreading took more than a week. The technical review for the second round was very strict, scrutinizing citations and charts closely. Surprisingly, a few untranslated Chinese sentences in the code comments were also detected. After acceptance, fees were paid before another round of proofreading. Now waiting for publication, which is expected to take about a month. The second review is not as strict in terms of innovation, but authenticity is required.
