Submitted a theoretical article on non-Hermitian quantum systems.
Version 1 - March 31, 2022
After 5 weeks (May 3, 2022), received feedback from the editor requesting revisions before resubmission. Although it was technically a rejection, the status on the system showed "revise and resubmit." Decided to highlight the main contributions of the article in the introduction as requested by the editor.

Version 2 - September 3, 2022
This day felt frustrating as I submitted the article hoping for a quick publication. After another 5 months (February 7, 2023), received feedback from two reviewers, both of whom were positive and seemed to have independently verified our main derivations. It was a long wait, but I refrained from sending reminders and patiently waited for the outcome.

Version 3 - March 14, 2023
Revisited the XXZ model as requested and provided a more comprehensive analysis. Finally, after a week (March 21, 2023), the article was officially accepted, taking approximately a year from the initial submission. On March 23, 2023, received an official DOI and journal number, which was quite gratifying. Paid a fee of 450 euros, much cheaper compared to Nature and PR series. The article was also uploaded to arXiv, with the Quantum journal providing a mere validation of acceptance. This non-profit approach deserves support, and the article will retain its arXiv identifier.

Because this journal is non-profit, many editors work out of passion, which leads to their serious attitude towards manuscripts and extremely slow review speed. It took a total of 7 months from submission to acceptance of my article. I heard it's quite normal for some to take over a year. So, those in a rush to graduate and publish should be cautious about submitting to this journal.

This journal is relatively new and not yet very influential, but it seems to be gaining popularity slowly. Therefore, the rejection rate is also increasing. When revising manuscripts, I felt that the editors are more interested in using this journal to establish a communication community in the quantum field. Given the current environment, it's truly a breath of fresh air. Overall, I believe in the potential growth of this journal
