It's too fast, I submitted my manuscript 70 days ago and still haven't received any review comments.

Accepted after revision, just coming to fulfill my vow. Timeline: Submitted on April 7th, with editor on April 7th, under review on April 7th. Major revision on May 12th with more than 30 comments from two reviewers. Resubmitted on June 28th. Another major revision on July 25th, one reviewer stubbornly holding onto a silly issue. Accepted on July 28th, editor basically ignored the second reviewer. Overall, the journal quality is very high, and the reviewers are professional. The revised article has significantly improved. This is the most challenging article I have worked on, taking two months to revise. Luckily, the outcome is positive. However, I still find it difficult to submit to Acta. This article, despite the good fortune of uncovering a beautiful mechanism, structure, and performance, was criticized as "not novel" by the reviewers. I can't imagine how a truly innovative article would be accepted now.
