Major revision for consideration on October 21st
Received feedback from 6 reviewers, with 5 revisions accepted and 1 not recommended for acceptance. I was asked to add 4-5 experiments and the editor requested major revisions. I added 4 experiments and resubmitted on November 21st.
Minor revision for acceptance on December 21st, with the reviewer who did not recommend acceptance providing minor revision suggestions.
Revised on January 18th
Accepted on January 23rd

I submitted two papers this year, I feel confident that at least one of them will be accepted in the top tier journal. The Impact Factor is already close to 7.2.

Comprehensive research on active ingredients, activity evaluation, application evaluation, etc. Study food functions using pharmacological methods. Food Chemistry X, as a sister journal of Food Chemistry, has abundant sources of articles. I submitted an article in early 2021 and submitted another one this year. The timeline for the submission process is as follows: October 20, 2024 - Submitted, October 23 - With Editor, October 25 - Editor Invited, October 31 - Reviewer Invited (6+), Under Review (5), November 10 - Required Review Completed (5), November 19 - Minor revisions requested, December 5 - Resubmitted, December 8 - Accepted. Editor Luciana Azevedo is very efficient!
