Two reviewers had greatly differing opinions. The rejection was solely due to the brief and irresponsible comments of the second reviewer. After a year and a half of reviewing, it is ridiculous for the editor to reject the paper based on just one sentence. It's time to escape from this nonsense.

On June 18, 2024, the submission was made, and after 3 months, 5 reviewers were invited. One of them was very efficient and quickly submitted the review comments, while another accepted the invitation but then disappeared. Despite multiple emails and communication with customer service, the editors remained indifferent. In March 2025, two new invitations were sent out, but no one accepted. Even expressing a desire to invite more additional reviewers to the editors was futile, as they simply continued to remind the old reviewers who had not responded for over a year...... Run away quickly......

Submitted in June 20, 2024, reviewed in mid-August by three reviewers; first round of feedback returned in mid-September, requiring major revisions, two reviewers had mostly positive feedback with minor suggestions, while the third reviewer had many suggestions. Revised in mid-October; second round of review returned in mid-November, one reviewer agreed to accept, another requested minor revisions, and the third reviewer still required major revisions. Revised in mid-December and sent back to only two reviewers for review. In mid-January 2025, all reviewers agreed to accept except for the one reviewer who requested significant changes. The changes were made immediately and resubmitted in mid-February. Submitted for review again in March 2025, but only sent to one reviewer (presumably the same one), who unexpectedly disappeared this time. In April, a new reviewer was assigned by the editor, and feedback was received on May 2nd. As of June 8, 2025, the editor has received feedback but has not made a decision yet. It is unclear what the situation is, and there is a sense of urgency. What should be done? Still waiting...

An additional reviewer was added in February 2025 for acceptance of the review. However, there have been no updates on the status so far. It's really frustrating, the reviewers are being so irresponsible towards the author.
