In the review of the International Review of Economics and Finance, it was mentioned that two manuscripts were submitted almost simultaneously at the end of October/early November in year 25. After that, my collaborators and I started working on the third manuscript, and we completed the first draft in March of year 26 (which was also the time when the second manuscript of IREF was basically accepted). We finished the final draft of the third manuscript in May and submitted it to RIBAF.

Entered external review on 07.06.26
First review completed on 09.07.26, with sharp comments from reviewers, but not many, with sharp comments on empirical content, difficult to handle, currently discussing with collaborators.

However, completing the first review in just over a month is very fast, so I give credit to the journal. There were rumors that it is normal for management articles to take over a year for the first review, but both of my IREF RIBAF submissions were reviewed in 1-3 months. I hope good luck continues to be on my side!
