I am in the same situation, revised on 7.20, showing that the external review expert's opinion was received on 7.23, but there has been no news since then. I followed up in November and was told that the paper had been accepted, but there has been no further communication. There have been no updates online and no formal email sent. I'm so frustrated with this magazine. I submitted my article in May of 23, and it still hasn't been sent out for review. I've followed up several times and they keep telling me they're looking for experts. The feedback finally came in December and I made the revisions within two weeks, but still no response. I sent emails in February, March, and April asking for updates, but all I received was more generic responses saying they're waiting for the editor to make a decision. I don't even know if they sent the revised draft back to the experts. I've been waiting anxiously, and in early May I sent another email only to receive the same generic response about waiting for the editor to make a decision. They said they would regularly update me, but it's been 5 months and there's still no progress

Submission in April, acceptance in November, with three months in between for editorial allocation. The actual review period is four months, with two of those months spent on editorial review. The actual review time is less than two months, so the speed is relatively slow (possibly because my research topic is niche). However, the journal responds to emails promptly, which is commendable. The reviewers are professional and provided useful suggestions. It is recommended to submit if there is sufficient time.

It is a British old brand journal, and I feel the review speed is OK. Three reviewers and the editor were all relatively professional. The article needs to be innovative. After revision, the process speed of the editor was quite fast.
