The speed is too slow. An email was sent on June 9th to urge, then received the second revision comments at the end of June (about ten points). Submitted after completing the revision in August, it has been stuck in the hands of the editor for another 10 days.

Notice of major revision on March 2, 2025, with a deadline of March 28, 2025. The first reviewer (presumably a non-professional Indian) provided over 30 comments. The second reviewer gave 5 comments. Due to my busy schedule during this period, I was under a lot of pressure and rushed to make the final revisions and submit the paper in the last week, hoping that it will be accepted.

There were a lot of comments from the first review, with three months given for revisions, but the initial review process was too long, lasting over four months. It might be better to submit to an open-access journal.

This journal is not indexed by SCI, but my supervisor said the recognition is still good, so we submitted it. After four rounds of revisions, it was accepted. The efficiency of the journal editors is quite high, spending most of the time in communication with reviewers. There were more issues in the first round, but in the following three rounds, there were only two or three small issues to address, and patience in making the revisions was key
