The editor has no level at all, so it's no wonder the impact factor has dropped. I submitted a manuscript to a sub-journal, with biological experiments and discoveries, but all three reviewers raised issues about simplification and formatting. The editor directly rejected it without even considering a major revision. I have reviewed articles for others before, and all the references were from before 2020. Yet, these boring articles can still be revised and resubmitted, I am speechless. The absurdity of this journal is evident.
