Experience sharing: The first review took almost two months, with a rejection but resubmission possible. I almost rewrote the entire article before resubmitting. The second review took 20 days, then back to the editorial board. It took nearly a month to receive feedback and a decision. Minor revisions were made, and it was resubmitted 7 days later. Three weeks of waiting for "under review," then another round of minor revisions to adjust three data points in a table. One day after re-uploading, another 3 weeks of waiting before finally receiving an acceptance. The 4-point journal sure is slow! But once accepted, the article was online in 2-3 weeks!

For a journal with an impact factor >4, it is extremely slow. Although I received the first round of reviews within 2 months of submission, the back and forth between the editor took an immense about of time. I swear I had to wait 3 weeks for every email response. The only upside to my experience was that my article was published online 2-3 weeks after the editor told me it was accepted. At least that part was fast.
