1. Around 10 days after submitting the manuscript, it will show "sent for external review".
2. It takes about 2 months to receive the external review feedback after entering the external review process.
3. The major revisions suggested in the external review feedback allowed for 2 months of revision time. After solidly revising for a little over a month, the manuscript was resubmitted.
4. Approximately 20 days after resubmission, the final decision was made, and the manuscript was accepted by the journal.
5. There are no Article Processing Charges (APC) for the journal. The entire process from submission to acceptance took 5 months, and although the waiting process was quite painful, the final result was perfect. Personally, I believe that the journal has high standards for article quality, and the research needs to be thorough and well-structured.
