They are all published by the same journal publisher IAENG. As for the issue you mentioned, it may be that the editor felt your article was more suitable for this journal and transferred it, or it could be that you made a mistake when submitting. Another point of complaint about the journal is the formatting issue. The journal has very strict requirements for formatting (a PDF file of around 26 pages), and any deviation from these requirements will require revisions. Some of these requirements are quite difficult to meet: for example, figures cannot be inserted within paragraphs, and they cannot cause blank pages due to their placement. However, the journal is in two columns, so some large images have to be changed to single-column format, which can lead to the aforementioned issues. Additionally, the journal requires submissions in .doc format, and all files for submission and revisions cannot exceed 8MB in total. Revisions must include a modification statement, as highlighting on the original file is not allowed, and a separate statement must be provided in a specific format. In short, there are many trivial rules that must be followed.

As for the journal fees, as stated on the official website, they are not expensive, which is also a plus. In conclusion, for Master's students busy meeting graduation requirements, if impact factor is not a concern, it may be worth a try.

Personal experience:

First of all, regarding the review process, the feedback from the major revision was very general. For details, please refer to my replies to comments in the comments section. After searching online, I found that the major revision feedback given by this journal is quite general to many people. Due to the reviewer's comment on the poor English level of the paper during the major revision, I had it polished by a language editing service. However, the minor revision feedback after resubmission was basically consistent with the major revision feedback. Overall, the review process of this journal seems a bit abstract.

Next is the speed of the journal. One advantage is that throughout the submission process, they will send you emails informing you of specific deadlines. For example, for the first round of review, they will clearly inform you of a deadline, and if there is no response by that date, you can inquire. In reality, they generally stick to this deadline. However, a point of complaint is that some editorial responses also have a deadline, usually two weeks, but they usually respond every 7 days. For example, in my case of formatting changes, the three rounds of communication took me almost a whole month, even for minor issues, they still responded every seven days. The responses were a bit quicker during the plagiarism check and payment stage.

Submitted on August 15th, the editorial department replied with receipt of the submission for external review after 7 days.
First review result came out after 2 months, with major revisions needed.
Returned for major revisions on November 11th.
Second review result came out on November 30th, with minor revisions needed.
Returned for minor revisions on December 5th.
On December 12th, the editorial department sent an email to start the formatting modification process, which lasted until December 26th.
Requested plagiarism check on December 26th.
On January 1st, the editorial department requested payment information and choice of payment method.
Payment link was provided on January 6th.
