The entire process took about 3 months, going through one round of revisions. It was previously rejected after revisions by Frontier in Surgery, not sure if it was due to the Christmas season. My supervisor suggested submitting it to this journal with little information, and the feedback from the first round of major revisions wasn't great. I felt like if it was rejected by this journal, it would be rejected by others as well. However, after the major revisions were completed, it was accepted. I am grateful to the editor for allowing me to have one more article before I graduate. In reality, it could be considered a case report, and other journals may not allow submissions of articles.
