The same situation as yours! One reviewer suggested minor revisions, but the Taiwanese editor insisted on major revisions. After the revisions were made and approved by the reviewer, the editor claimed that the language was not up to standard and recommended that we hire a language editor. We used Elsevier's language polishing service, paid for it, submitted the manuscript, and it was rejected for poor English without specific examples of the issues. They recommended using the language polishing service on webshop.elsevier.com, which is exactly what I used! I am so fed up with this ridiculous journal, and I will never submit to it again!

The Taiwan journal, NT editor, rejected the review of the September 3 parade, citing inadequate English skills as the reason. The reviewer's comments were very good, but during the second review at the end of August, the editor said my English was not good and needed to be revised. In the first draft, my English expression did have some issues, which I must admit. I spent a week using AI to polish each sentence, manually checked to ensure the paper's main content and structure were not problematic, and submitted it. However, on September 12, the editor rejected it due to too many English grammar errors. It is even better than AI, nothing to say, the editor is a fool.
