The fourth reviewer directly stated that the paper did not meet the journal standards and recommended rejection. At that time, I felt that my article was worthless, as the four reviewers provided dozens of comments, and the editor rejected the submission. My supervisor advised me to treat the reviewer comments as major revisions, so I spent two months revising and resubmitted to CEA on April 22nd. During the review process, only one reviewer provided feedback, and it wasn't until August 6th that the revised manuscript was accepted with minor revisions.
