Three rounds of review, each round taking about a month and a half. The processing by the third round editor is slow, and minor revisions are sent back to the reviewers. It may be because the reviewers are slow in accepting the review, so an additional reviewer is added. After the reviewers complete their review, it takes twelve days to enter the decision in principle (DIP), and another eight to nine days to be accepted (the second round review is also slow, probably also taking about half a month).
Overall, the time spent on editing the paper here may be longer than the time spent on external review, so submitting may require a bit more patience.

I submitted my work on March 24th, 2010, it went through four revisions by December 26th, 2014, and was finally accepted on January 15th, 2015. As of January 22nd, 2015, I still haven't received the final decision. The reason is that there is a large volume of submissions, so I need to be patient and wait.

After changing the editor-in-chief of this journal last year, the speed became unpredictable. Some papers were online within two months, while my submission has been pending for over ten and a half months without any result. During this time, there were three occasions where the editor did not process submissions for more than a month, and sending reminder emails had no effect. I speculate that the editor may only go online periodically to handle submissions, and if you miss the window, there's no telling how long it will take. Anyway, I probably won't submit to this journal again in the future. It's just pure torture.
