I don't know why an additional third reviewer was added. I personally feel that my response letter and revisions were very well done. Both the first and second reviewers only took half a day and a day to complete their reviews, and the editorial feedback after the second review only required minor revisions from the first reviewer. Normally, if a rejection is to be given, reasons should be provided, but the editor did not provide any. I suspect that both the first and second reviewers accepted the paper. So, I am not sure why a new reviewer was added after more than twenty days. Usually, two reviewers agreeing is sufficient. Perhaps it is to improve the quality of the manuscript?
