Correction, it wasn't this article that was rejected, but another one. I spent a lot of time revising it for over 10 months. An Indian reviewer kept holding on to it, demanding that I cite his article and making strange requests. I complained to the editorial office and got a new reviewer, who didn't approve of the topic and asked me to rewrite the entire article. But it was already my fourth revision, and I felt unfairly treated. I thought it would be better to write a new article from scratch than to make more changes. So I didn't accept the suggestions, made some minor modifications, and submitted it back. It was rejected three days later, and I felt really upset. This article was also rejected by IEEE Trans journal before, so I tried my luck with it again.
