Entropy Special Issue: Uncertainty-aware Feature Learning and Anomaly Detection for Unlabeled Complex Data

With the rapid development of fields such as the Internet of Things, cybersecurity, and healthcare, unlabeled complex data is growing exponentially, posing significant challenges for intelligent data analysis. The inherent noise, fuzziness, incompleteness, and other uncertainty issues in such data severely limit the performance of traditional methods that rely on labeled data or ignore uncertainty quantification.

To promote interdisciplinary innovation and breakthroughs in this field, we are launching a special issue on "Uncertainty-aware Feature Learning and Anomaly Detection" in the internationally renowned journal Entropy (ISSN 1099-4300, published by MDPI), focusing on the core technical challenges of unlabeled complex data. Global researchers are invited to share cutting-edge achievements!

This special issue focuses on the innovation and application of uncertainty-aware methodologies, including but not limited to:
- Uncertainty modeling and uncertain information processing
- Feature selection, representation learning, and high-dimensional data processing
- Anomaly/outlier detection techniques
- Granular computing, rough set theory, fuzzy set theory, and applications
- Methods related to entropy and uncertainty quantification
- Self-supervised learning, unsupervised uncertainty quantification frameworks
