Submitted on 11.11.2024, initial review took 2 months, sent for review on January 7, 2025, and now it has been close to 5 months without any news. Emails to the editorial department only receive template replies, a very bad submission experience. There is no way to withdraw the submission. The attitude of the Chinese Academy of Sciences towards these old journals is very correct, very arrogant and evasive. These journals should be downgraded to Tier 3 or Tier 4.
