The first short paper was accepted in less than three months, which was quite lucky. The editor had difficulty finding a reviewer, so it was a one-on-one process. The reviewer was very professional, thorough, and relatively quick. The assistant editor of this journal was very nice and always inquired about progress, promptly responding to emails the next day. However, I also submitted another paper on June 29th, which is still in the hands of the associate editor and has not been sent for external review yet. So, opinions on speed may vary!

On October 23, 2025, I have to say, the efficiency of the editor-in-chief is really high. The morning changes status, and in the afternoon, the editor-in-chief returns with feedback. Also, the associate editors and editorial board of this journal are very good. In the previous first round of external review, no one accepted the manuscript for review, and the editor kept inviting, eventually two reviewers were found. It took more than a year from submission to acceptance. I would like to thank the editor-in-chief of EJSS, all the editors, and the two reviewers. The quality of the journal is really good, and the editors are also very nice. I wish EJSS continued success.

On June 30, 2025, there was a major revision. The chief editor worked very quickly, giving feedback to the EIC in the morning and receiving comments in the afternoon. One reviewer provided a major revision (with over ten suggestions) and the other provided a minor revision, which the chief editor accepted. Thanks to the chief editor and the two reviewers.
