I did a job, submitted macromolecules, and sent it for review. I submitted to EPJ, and the reviews were similar to those of macromolecules, with one key issue that I can't address with additional experiments right now. So it has been rejected. 

Also, I have a question: as authors submitting papers, how can we know if we are submitting too many papers? Is it just a guess? Can someone provide some guidance on this? Thank you.
