In approximately April of the 24th year, the first trial was rejected, which lasted about 4 months. 

The paper was reviewed by four experts in the area of the paper. They were all negative with respect to the paper. The referees criticized mainly contribution, technical quality, and justification of design decisions made by the authors.

All four reviewers were very negative, with one recommending outright rejection. The paper was resubmitted to a higher-ranked journal and was recently accepted! The reviewers here all seem to be foreigners and may not fully understand the work I am doing, as they have completely dismissed it in terms of methods and issues, possibly because it does not meet their requirements.

The review process took a year, and the reason for ultimately rejecting the manuscript after a year was that it had too much content, exceeding their annual publishing limit.
