The journal is a good one. It took less than 40 days from submission to acceptance, including the first round of minor revisions and additional experiments which took 14 days. After the first round of revisions, I was notified of acceptance the next day, which is really efficient. However, this journal moved from the medical first quartile to the biological second quartile. I hope it will be promoted to the first quartile, otherwise submitting to this journal will not be worth it.
