If the article is deemed unsuitable for the journal, it will be rejected in a short time. Be patient and wait. "With editor for recommendation" means that they are starting to find reviewers. When a reviewer agrees, the status will change to "with one or more reviewers". These two statuses will switch back and forth until the final decision is made. There are fewer journal reviews, and I usually like to read reviews. So, I'm here to contribute one~ Submitted on March 1, 2023, received the first review on May 14 (Reject with Resubmission), received the feedback on July 7, received the second review on August 14 (revision), and then returned one week later. After waiting for nearly a month, it was accepted on September 19. Both reviewers and the associate editor provided professional feedback, which helped improve the article significantly. The comprehensive double-blind review process was fair and friendly to Chinese researchers. However, the entire process took more than six months, mainly due to my delay in making the first revision, which took almost two months. I personally speculate that there may not have been a major revision option in the reviewers' feedback, only options for rejection with resubmission and minor modifications
