The first review was rejected after seven months. I sent two emails inquiring during the process, and the day after the second inquiry, it was awaiting decision approval. Two days later, it was rejected. The opinions of the three reviewers were fairly constructive, with one being particularly positive. The other two mentioned that certain issues needed to be addressed in the revised manuscript, but these were not addressed in the resubmission.
