It's been over four months since the second review, waiting for the Associate Editor recommendation for 40 days, and now it's almost 20 days waiting for the Reviewing Editor decision. I am the same. After receiving conditional acceptance in the second round, I planned to resubmit in mid-August. However, up until yesterday, my status had always been "scores," but today it suddenly changed to "under review." I don't know what happened...

The second review took about a month and a half, and it took almost two weeks for the reviewer to accept the manuscript. Then it was under review for a month, and suddenly changed to "under review." In my impression, the first review was also like this, where it suddenly went from scores to review, but quickly received a revise and resubmit decision. I don't know what will happen this time, hopefully it will be a good outcome.

I don't know if you have seen the scores stage at the second review. My application went through the scores stage for a month, and suddenly it changed to "under review." There were three comments, just a few lines each, suggesting additional experiments. The first reviewer was the most amusing, saying, "I have never seen a paper with two abstracts, I suggest combining them into one." I couldn't help but laugh. The Note to practitioner is a requirement from the TASE journal, and it was mistaken for "two abstracts" that needed to be merged into one! Furthermore, the reviewer mentioned that I used a lot of abbreviations in the main text but didn't follow through with them later on. I found it hilarious, as there were only three abbreviations in total: DoF, XXR (certain robot), and XXM (certain model). Is that too many? Did I not use them? Additionally, the reviewer didn't seem to understand what inline equations are, saying my equations were not numbered. But really, why would a formula that doesn't need to be referenced be numbered? This reviewer is just talking nonsense!

I hope that your second review can be directly accepted. My second review was conditionally accepted last month for resubmission, and another month has passed. This third round will probably take another three to four months.

The first submission was made on January 15th, and after 4 months it was returned for revisions. Now it has been another 4 months for the second review, and the status has changed from being recommended by the Associate Editor to waiting for reviewers' scores. At this rate, one month for review, two months in the editor's hands, and another three months to go. Anyway, I dare not submit in the future.
